Waiter Curl (Dumbbell)
Dumbell
Primary: Biceps
Secondary: Forearms
Step-by-Step Instructions
Hold a dumbbell vertically and place your hands flat against the underside of the top weight plate with your thumbs on top for grip support.
Stand tall, spread your feet slightly wider than your hips, and lean forward slightly.
Bring your chest out, engage your abs, and breathe in.
Curl the dumbbell until your wrists are slightly higher than your elbows and pause for a moment as you exhale.
Slowly lower the weight until your arms are fully extended. Breathe in on the way down.
Repeat.
